Squeeze

"Frank" is a studio album by the new wave band Squeeze, released in 1989. The album did not perform well commercially, peaking at No. 58 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 113 on the Billboard 200. As a result of its poor sales, Squeeze was dropped by A&M Records while on tour promoting the album. This period marked a significant shift for the band, as they were forced to explore offers from other major labels for the first time in their career. Subsequently, they signed with Reprise Records and began working on their next studio album, Play. Despite its underwhelming commercial performance, Frank remains a part of Squeeze's discography and reflects their musical direction during the late 1980s.
