Kiss

"Crazy Nights" is the fourteenth studio album by Kiss, recorded between March and June 1987 and released on September 21, 1987. This album features the lineup of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Bruce Kulick, and Eric Carr, marking their second collaboration. Known for its pop-metal sound and the prominent use of keyboards and synthesizers, Crazy Nights reflects the commercial rock trends of the late '80s. The album includes several tracks that were performed live during its supporting tour, but most were quickly dropped from the setlist afterward. Notably, "Crazy Crazy Nights" remained part of their performances for the Hot in the Shade Tour but was subsequently retired until its return during the Sonic Boom Over Europe Tour, nearly 20 years later. Despite its limited representation in live shows, Crazy Nights is regarded as a fan favorite and a classic from Kiss's non-makeup era, particularly in the context of their '80s discography. It was re-released in 1998 as part of the Kiss Remasters series, making it the last Kiss album to undergo remastering.
