"Talk About That" is the 66th album by British blues musician John Mayall. It was released in 2017 and was produced by Forty Below Records. The album includes eleven tracks, nine of which are original compositions by Mayall himself. Some of the tracks feature contributions by special guest musicians, such as legendary guitarist Joe Walsh. However, "Talk About That" also marks a significant point in Mayall’s discography because it’s the last studio record to feature Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee bassist, Greg Rzab, and drummer Jay Davenport. Mayall has been highly praised for his splendid harmonica work and keyboard prowess which are beautifully showcased in this album. This album is appreciated for maintaining the essence of raw blues while adding flavors of rock and roll here and there. Most songs on this album talk about Mayall's viewpoints on certain social issues. "Talk About That" is evidence of Mayall's incredible consistency and his dedication towards the blues genre, proving why he's seen as one of the stalwarts of British blues.
