Xzibit

"Napalm" is the seventh studio album by American rapper Xzibit, released on October 9, 2012, through Open Bar Entertainment. This album marks his first release since 2006's Full Circle and features an extensive list of guest appearances, including Demrick, The Game, Wiz Khalifa, and Prodigy, among others. Despite the notable collaborations, Napalm debuted at number 150 on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of only 3,200 copies in the United States. Background: After Full Circle's commercial failure, Xzibit shifted his focus primarily to acting, with no new music released until 2009. He initially worked on a project titled MMX, but after a lack of commercial success with singles like "Hurt Locker" and "Phenom," the album underwent several name changes before settling on Napalm. The title was inspired by his collaboration "Napalm" with Travis Barker from his mixtape Let the Drummer Get Wicked. Singles: The lead single "Up Out the Way," featuring E-40 and produced by Rick Rock, was released on September 4, 2012. Another single, "Phenom," was released earlier on May 25, 2010, featuring Kurupt and 40 Glocc. Despite these efforts, the album's commercial performance was modest.
