Warren G

"I Want It All" is the third studio album by American rapper Warren G. It was originally released on October 12, 1999, by Restless Records. The album features guest performances by Snoop Dogg, Mack 10, Jermaine Dupri, and Slick Rick, among others. Securing a spot in the top 10 on both the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, "I Want It All" proved its distinction in the music industry soon after its release. The album was distinguished as gold, selling over 500,000 copies. The title single "I Want It All" features Mack 10 and became a hit on the Billboard charts. The song was famously built around a sample taken from the 1982 El DeBarge song, "I Like It". Eventually, it snagged the 23rd spot in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The predominant themes characterized in the album are family life, the rap industry, and the shift from a life of chaos to a life of prosperity and peace. As with Warren G's previous albums, G-funk is a primary style of this album. However, the album also echoes elements of hip hop, gangsta rap, and R&B.
