Blue Cheer

"Outsideinside" is the second studio album by the American rock trio Blue Cheer, released by Philips Records in August 1968, just seven months after their debut album, Vincebus Eruptum. The album's title reflects its recording process, which involved both outdoor and indoor sessions. The album features contributions from all band members and includes two notable covers: "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones and "The Hunter" by Albert King. Despite its innovative approach, Outsideinside reached number 90 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album's lead single, "Just a Little Bit," peaked at number 92 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Outsideinside continues to be recognized for its raw, heavy sound and its place in the evolution of hard rock and heavy metal.
