"Super Collider" is the fourteenth studio album by American heavy metal band Megadeth, released on June 4, 2013. It marks the band's first album released on Tradecraft, a Universal label created for frontman Dave Mustaine. The album features a guest appearance from Disturbed vocalist David Draiman, and its lead single, the title track "Super Collider," was released on iTunes on April 23, 2013.
Notably, this album is the first since 1997's "Cryptic Writings" to feature the same lineup as its predecessor, although it is the last to include drummer Shawn Drover and guitarist Chris Broderick, who left the band in November 2014. "Super Collider" debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 and has sold over 86,000 copies in the United States as of December 2015. Despite its commercial performance, the album received mixed reviews from critics and holds a Metacritic rating of 41/100 as of August 2014.
