Terence Trent D'Arby

"Nigor Mortis" is the seventh studio album by Sananda Maitreya, formerly known as Terence Trent D'Arby. It was released exclusively through his online store in both MP3 and CD formats. The CD edition comes in a DVD-style case with an eight-page photo booklet. The album was recorded in Milan, Italy, where Maitreya has lived since 2002, across five studio sessions. All tracks were written, arranged, produced, and performed by Maitreya, who played drums, bass, guitar, and keyboards. Two songs feature contributions from Lucio Fabbri on fiddle and banjo. The album’s title, “Nigor Mortis,” symbolizes the transition between death and renewed life. An instrumental version of the album is also available in MP3 format.
