"Watt" is a studio album by British blues-rock band Ten Years After, released in 1970. It is their fifth album and the follow-up to the critically acclaimed "Cricklewood Green."
The album was produced by the band's lead guitarist and vocalist, Alvin Lee. It was recorded at the famous Olympic Studios in London and mixed at Morgan Studios. The album features a mix of blues, hard rock and progressive rock, reaffirming the group's reputation as one of the most electrifying concert experiences of the time.
"Watt" was the last album to be released by the band's classic line-up before the departure of bassist Leo Lyons. The album's most renowned numbers include "I'm Coming On" and "My Baby Left Me." Overall, "Watt" is an album that may not have gained the mass appeal of 'I'm Going Home,' but for many Ten Years After fans, it captures the essence of the band, showcasing their blues roots, exceptional musicianship and high-energy performances.
