"Playboys" is a 1956 jazz album featuring trumpeter Chet Baker and saxophonist Art Pepper, marking their third collaboration after The Route and Chet Baker Big Band. The album showcases a selection of tracks primarily composed by Jimmy Heath.
Initially, the album's cover drew controversy for its resemblance to Playboy magazine, prompting Hugh Hefner to threaten legal action. This led to a 1961 reissue titled Picture of Heath, which featured a new cover and rearranged track order, starting with the title track. The original cover was replaced with a photograph of Baker and Pepper in the studio. Subsequent reissues have alternated between the original cover and the Picture of Heath design.
