"Smooth Noodle Maps" is the eighth studio album by American new wave band Devo, released in June 1990. It was their final album with Enigma Records and their last full-length studio album until "Something for Everybody" in 2010. The recording took place over three months from October 1989 to January 1990 at Master Control Studios in Burbank, California.
This album is notable for being the last Devo studio album to feature drummer David Kendrick. It includes a unique dance-oriented cover of Bonnie Dobson's song "Morning Dew." The track "Post Post-Modern Man" achieved significant success, reaching No. 7 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and No. 26 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Club Play chart in 1990.
