"Everyday Is Christmas" is the eighth studio album and first Christmas album by Australian singer-songwriter Sia, released on November 17, 2017, by Atlantic Records and Monkey Puzzle. The album features a collection of original Christmas songs, marking a shift from traditional holiday covers. It includes 10 tracks co-written by Sia and her longtime collaborator Greg Kurstin, who also produced the album.
The album was recorded in May 2017 during a two-week session with Kurstin, with Sia describing the experience as joyful and full of laughter. This was her first album under Atlantic Records, after leaving RCA. The album's cover features Sia's frequent dance collaborator, Maddie Ziegler, and was promoted with the release of the lead single, "Santa's Coming for Us," on October 30, 2017. A second single, "Snowman," followed on November 9.
The album initially contained 10 tracks, but has been reissued several times with additional bonus material. In 2018, a deluxe edition was released, which included the tracks "Sing for My Life" and a cover of Perry Como's "Round and Round." The Japan version of the album featured the exclusive track "My Old Santa Claus."
In 2021, a "Snowman Deluxe Edition" was released, which added three more tracks, including "Pin Drop," "Santa Visits Everyone," and a TikTok remix of "Snowman." In 2022, the deluxe edition was reissued again with four additional tracks: "Naughty & Nice," "12 Nights," "3 Minutes 'Til New Years," and a sped-up version of "Snowman."
"Santa's Coming for Us" was the first single from the album and performed well on holiday charts, including peaking at No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart. A fun music video for the song, starring Kristen Bell as a host at a Christmas party, was released in November 2017. "Snowman" also performed well, reaching No. 3 on the Holiday Digital Song Sales chart. Both songs received additional promotional boosts through performances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Voice.
The music video for "Snowman" premiered in 2020, directed by Lior Molcho, further extending the song’s seasonal popularity.
