Buffalo Springfield

"Buffalo Springfield" is a career retrospective album by the 1960s folk rock band Buffalo Springfield, released in 2001. This comprehensive collection was assembled by band member Neil Young and is arranged in chronological order to highlight the band's evolution and eventual disintegration over a span of two years. The set consists of four discs. The first three discs cover the band's development and the various stages of their career, while the fourth disc includes the band's first two albums. Most of the tracks on the fourth disc had already appeared in the earlier discs, with a few exceptions. The box set reached number 194 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart and remained there for one week. It provides a detailed look at the band's influential work during their brief but impactful career.
