"Never, Never, Land" is the second studio album by British electronic music act UNKLE. This album was released on 22 September 2003 in the United Kingdom by Mo Wax and 24 September 2003 in the United States by Global Underground. It was UNKLE's first album following the departure of co-founder DJ Shadow, and saw the remaining member, James Lavelle, working with new production partner Richard File.
"Never, Never, Land" represents a shift from the trip-hop oriented sound of the group's debut album "Psyence Fiction," further exploring genres such as electronic, dance. The album also features collaborations with various artists such as 3D from Massive Attack, Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age, Robert Del Naja, and Ian Brown of The Stone Roses.
Praised for its intricate production values, the album spawned three singles: "Eye for an Eye," "In a State," and "Safe in Mind". Despite receiving mostly positive reviews from critics, the album was not as commercially successful as its predecessor. However, it remains an exemplar in the emergent genre of electronic music and has since gained its place as a cult classic.
