Cyndi Lauper

"At Last" is the seventh studio album by American singer Cyndi Lauper, released in 2003. It consists primarily of jazz standard covers, with a reimagined contemporary song included as well. The album features a duet with jazz legend Tony Bennett on the track "Makin' Whoopee" and was co-produced by Lauper and Russ Titelman. A special longbox edition of the album was briefly available exclusively at Costco or Sam's Club in the first two weeks of its release. While Lauper described the album as a special project rather than a career-defining one, it was well-received by both critics and the public. Major outlets like AllMusic and Slant Magazine gave the album favorable reviews, and it debuted at #38 on the Billboard 200, selling 47,000 copies in its first week. The album’s single "Walk On By" reached #10 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play chart, and the Eddie X Mixes version hit #15. To promote the album, Lauper headlined VH1 Divas Live 2004, performing alongside artists like Patti LaBelle and Debbie Harry. By 2012, At Last had sold 276,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
