Type O Negative

"Bloody Kisses" is the third studio album by the American gothic metal band Type O Negative and marks their final recording with the original lineup, as drummer Sal Abruscato left the band in late 1993 to join Life of Agony. The album features two of the band's most well-known songs, "Christian Woman" and "Black No. 1 (Little Miss Scare-All)," which helped the band gain a significant cult following. The album further solidified the band's signature elements, such as unique cover songs, sample-heavy interludes, and lyrics infused with dry, satirical humor. Bloody Kisses is particularly notable for being the first album released by Roadrunner Records to be certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in November 1995. It was later certified Platinum by the RIAA in December 2000.
