Lene Lovich

"No Man's Land" is the third studio album by Lene Lovich, released on November 12, 1982, by Stiff Records. It marks her final album with the Stiff Records label. The album was produced by Lovich and Les Chappell and features tracks from her earlier extended play, New Toy. Although No Man's Land had initially been scheduled for release in 1981, it was delayed due to disputes with the record company. The album's lead single, "It's You, Only You (Mein Schmerz)", charted at number 25 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs and reached number 51 on the Mainstream Rock chart. It also peaked at number 68 on the UK Singles Chart. The second single, "Blue Hotel," was also released to promote the album. Upon its release, No Man's Land received mixed reviews from critics and did not achieve the commercial success of Lovich's previous albums, Stateless (1978) and Flex (1979). It peaked at number 188 on the Billboard 200.
