"Warped by Success" is the sixth studio album by China Crisis, released in 1994. This album arrived five years after their previous release, Diary of a Hollow Horse. The production of Warped by Success was overseen by Walter Becker of Steely Dan, continuing the band's collaboration with him after their previous work together. It was also their final album released under Virgin Records.
The album features a blend of synth-pop and rock elements, characteristic of China Crisis' style during that period. While it didn't achieve the same commercial success as some of their earlier work, Warped by Success reflects the band's ongoing evolution and Becker's distinctive production influence.
