A-ha

"Analogue" is the eighth studio album by the Norwegian band A-ha, released in 2005. This album marked A-ha's first release on Polydor Records (Universal) after previously being signed to Warner Music. Four singles were released from the album, with the second single, "Analogue (All I Want)," becoming the group's first top 10 hit on the UK Singles Chart since "Stay on These Roads" in 1988. The album reached No. 24 in the UK and received silver certification there. The song "Analogue (All I Want)" originated as "Minor Key Sonata (Analogue)." The album was produced by Martin Terefe and mixed by Flood. Max Martin was later brought in to make "Minor Key Sonata (Analogue)" more radio-friendly, leading to a rewrite and re-recording as "Analogue (All I Want)," which is the only track not produced by Terefe. Upon release as a single, it achieved significant success in the UK. The B-side to "Analogue (All I Want)," titled "Case Closed on Silver Shore," was also produced during the Analogue sessions by Terefe and mixed by Flood. It was written by Paul Waaktaar-Savoy. The lead vocal on "The Summers of Our Youth" is performed by Furuholmen, with Harket joining him on the chorus. In the live version of "Holyground," Waaktaar-Savoy plays an omnichord.
