Can

"Rite Time" is the eleventh and final studio album by the German rock band Can, released after a significant hiatus since their previous album in 1979. Although the band had not officially disbanded, this album is often regarded as a reunion project due to the lengthy gap. The album was primarily recorded in the South of France in late 1986 and underwent extensive editing by the band in the years that followed. It features the return of original vocalist Malcolm Mooney, who had left the band in 1970 after their debut album, Monster Movie. Initially, the track "In the Distance Lies the Future" was exclusive to the CD version of the album, but it was included in the 2014 vinyl reissue. Rite Time reflects Can's innovative sound, blending experimental rock with Mooney's distinct vocals, and serves as a notable addition to their discography.
