"Ten Years After" is the debut album by the English blues rock band Ten Years After, released on October 27, 1967. Recorded at Decca Studios in London, it is notable for being one of the early blues rock albums by British musicians.
Unlike the band's later albums, which prominently feature original material by guitarist Alvin Lee, this debut includes a mix of covers and original songs. Noteworthy tracks include "Spoonful," a Willie Dixon composition previously covered by Cream, and "I Can't Keep from Crying Sometimes," which is based on Al Kooper's arrangement from The Blues Project's album Projections. The album showcases the band's early blues influences and sets the stage for their subsequent work in the genre.
