Motörhead

"Bad Magic" is the 22nd and final studio album by British rock band Motörhead. Released on 28 August 2015, this album was produced by Cameron Webb and continues Motörhead's tradition of carrying a rock and roll style. Recorded at NRG Studios in the United States, "Bad Magic" comprises a total of 13 tracks, including a vigorous cover of The Rolling Stones' "Sympathy For The Devil". One notable distinction about this album is that Lemmy Kilmister, the band's frontman, wrote all the lyrics on the spot in the studio, departing from his usual practice of coming prepared with lyrics. The album received several positive reviews from critics, with many appreciating the energetic performances despite Lemmy's health condition at that time. Songs include hits such as "Victory or Die", "Thunder & Lightning", and "Shoot Out All Of Your Lights". The album also features a guest appearance by Brian May, Queen's guitarist, on "The Devil". Sadly, it would be the last album released by the band before Lemmy's death in December 2015. Despite his deteriorating health, Lemmy delivered a power-packed performance, and "Bad Magic" stands as a testament to the unflagging spirit of this seminal rock and roll group.
