"Sir Army Suit" is the third studio album by the Canadian rock band Klaatu, released in 1978. The album continues the band's exploration of eclectic rock styles and concepts, following their previous work. "Sir Army Suit" features a mix of progressive rock, pop, and conceptual themes, and is noted for its blend of experimental sounds and traditional rock elements. The album is part of Klaatu's notable discography, reflecting their unique approach to music and their distinctive style.
Despite Capitol's aggressive promotion and the band's efforts, "Sir Army Suit" struggled with mediocre sales, partly due to waning interest following the debunked rumor about the band being anonymous Beatles recordings. The band began revealing their images through album artwork and an animated music video, which premiered on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert in March 1979. A remastered deluxe edition was released on October 31, 2013, by the band's label Klaatunes, featuring a bonus DVD with animated music videos and an hour-long interview with band members Terry Draper, Dee Long, and John Woloschuk.
