"I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" (often shortened to I Brought You My Bullets or Bullets) is the debut studio album by American rock band My Chemical Romance, released on July 23, 2002, by Eyeball Records. The album was produced by Geoff Rickly, the vocalist of Thursday, and recorded at Nada Recording Studio in New Windsor, New York, during May 2002.
The recording process faced challenges, notably due to lead singer Gerard Way's severe toothache, which extended the recording period. The band reflects on these difficulties in their 2006 documentary, Life on the Murder Scene. Despite these obstacles, the album marked the beginning of My Chemical Romance's career, laying the groundwork for their subsequent rise in the alternative rock scene.
