The Lemonheads

"Hate Your Friends" is the debut album by American alternative rock band The Lemonheads, released in 1987. Produced and released by the Boston-based indie label Taang Records, the album was also licensed for simultaneous release by several other labels worldwide. It showcases the band's early sound and punk roots, capturing the raw energy and DIY spirit of their formative years. The album is notable for being one of only three releases to feature the original lineup of The Lemonheads, consisting of Evan Dando, Ben Deily, and Jesse Peretz. "Hate Your Friends" laid the groundwork for the band's future success and established their presence in the alternative rock scene.
