Barbra Streisand

"What Matters Most" is the thirty-third studio album by Barbra Streisand, released on August 23, 2011, by Columbia Records. The album is dedicated to the lyrics of Alan and Marilyn Bergman, Streisand's longtime friends, and was produced by Streisand herself. It debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and received generally positive reviews from critics. Streisand, who had previously recorded numerous Bergman songs, intended this album to explore other gems from their extensive songbook. The deluxe edition includes a second disc with Bergman tunes that Streisand had recorded before. The album was nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 54th Grammy Awards. In its first week, it sold 68,000 copies in the U.S. and 210,000 copies within a year. It became her fourth studio album not to receive RIAA certification in the United States.
