Boston

"Greatest Hits" is a compilation album by American rock band Boston, released on June 3, 1997. It includes tracks from the band's releases on both Epic and MCA records, along with three previously unreleased songs: "Tell Me," "Higher Power," and "The Star-Spangled Banner." Due to band leader Tom Scholz's dissatisfaction with the audio quality, a remastered version with a slightly different track list was released in 2009. Boston supported the album with tours following both its original release and the remastered version. The album was certified double platinum by the RIAA on December 4, 2003, and had sold 2,234,000 copies in the United States by August 2014. The cover art features Boston's iconic guitar-shaped spaceship over a futuristic landscape, with the back cover depicting a personified New York City, despite the band’s usual association with Boston.
