"Theology" is the eighth studio album by Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor, released in 2007 on Rubyworks (and Koch Records in the US). The album is unique in that it consists of two discs: the acoustic "Dublin Sessions" and the full-band "London Sessions".
One of the notable tracks from "Theology" is the first single, a rendition of "I Don't Know How to Love Him", originally from the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. The album made its debut on the US Billboard 200 chart at number 168 in July 2007. It also entered Billboard's Independent Albums chart, peaking at number 15.
In its first week of release, "Theology" sold 4,700 units in the US. The album also charted in other countries including Ireland, France, and Italy, showcasing its international appeal and impact.
