Guns N' Roses

"Appetite for Destruction" is the debut studio album by the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, released on July 21, 1987, by Geffen Records. Initially, the album received little mainstream attention, but it gained significant traction in the following year due to extensive touring and the success of singles such as "Welcome to the Jungle," "Paradise City," and "Sweet Child o' Mine." The album eventually topped the US Billboard 200 and became the seventh best-selling album of all time in the United States, as well as the best-selling debut album in the country. With over 30 million copies sold worldwide, it is also one of the best-selling albums globally. Though critics were initially ambivalent, Appetite for Destruction has since received widespread acclaim and is considered one of the greatest albums of all time. In 2018, the album was re-released as a remastered box set, receiving similar universal acclaim.
