"Yes" is the debut studio album by the English rock band Yes, released on July 25, 1969, by Atlantic Records. Formed in the summer of 1968, the band toured the UK extensively, performing both original songs and rearranged covers. They signed with Atlantic in March 1969 and recorded their first album at Advision and Trident Studios in London.
The album features covers of "Every Little Thing" by the Beatles and "I See You" by the Byrds. Although "Yes" received positive reviews from critics in both the UK and the US, it did not achieve commercial success and failed to chart in either country. Two singles, "Sweetness" and "Looking Around," were released from the album. It was remastered in 1994 and again in 2003, with the latter version including several previously unreleased tracks, such as a rendition of "Something's Coming" from *West Side Story*.
