"The Best of Simple Minds" is the second greatest hits album by Simple Minds, released in 2001. This album features new versions of "Theme for Great Cities," and some copies, such as the US version, included remixes by Raven Maize. A new edition was released in November 2007, which added an extra DVD of the Verona concert film. Additionally, Raven Maize's track "The Real Life," which samples both "Theme for Great Cities" and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," became a hit single in 2001 and is included at the end of the second disc of the album.
