"Uncle Dysfunktional" is the fifth studio album by English rock band Happy Mondays, released on 2 July 2007 by Sequel Records. Following their reunion in 2004, the band embarked on tours and eventually began recording the album in 2006 with producer Sunny Levine. Initial sessions took place at The Studiosound and Make It Nice Studio before moving to Moolah Rogue Studios in Stockport.
The album is characterized as an electro-funk record with influences from country and hip hop. It received mixed reviews from music critics upon release. While some critics found elements to appreciate, others criticized it for being uninspired and lacking clear direction.
Leading up to the album's release, Happy Mondays performed at the Coachella Festival in the US and embarked on a two-month tour of the UK. "Jellybean" was released as the lead single on 16 July 2007, followed by "Dysfunktional Uncle" as the second single on 29 October 2007. The album's promotional efforts included another UK tour and a European excursion by the end of the year.
