"Despicable Me 3 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)" is the soundtrack album for the 2017 animated film, marking the fourth installment in the Despicable Me franchise and sequel to Despicable Me 2 (2013). Produced by Pharrell Williams, the album features five original songs he contributed specifically for the film. Alongside these, the soundtrack includes popular hits from the 1980s by artists like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Nena, and A-ha, as well as themes from previous installments in the franchise. Released on June 23, 2017, the soundtrack comprises sixteen tracks and was preceded by two singles: "Yellow Light" and "There's Something Special", which were available for digital download and streaming in early June. Heitor Pereira, known for his work on previous Despicable Me films, composed the original score for the movie. The separate score album, "Despicable Me 3 (Original Motion Picture Score)", featuring Pereira's compositions across 38 tracks, was released by Back Lot Music on June 30, expanding the musical experience of the film beyond its pop-infused soundtrack.
