Heitor Pereira, known for his work on previous Despicable Me films, composed the original score for the movie. The separate score album, "Despicable Me 3 (Original Motion Picture Score)", featuring Pereira's compositions across 38 tracks, was released by Back Lot Music on June 30, expanding the musical experience of the film beyond its pop-infused soundtrack.
