Kanye West

"Donda 2" is an unfinished demo album by Kanye West, exclusively released on the Stem Player. The album features four initial songs released on February 23, 2022, with additional tracks added later through updates. Despite being unfinished, the album was preceded by the singles "Eazy" and "City of Gods," both of which charted on the US Billboard Hot 100. Kanye West held the "Kanye West: Donda Experience Performance" listening party at LoanDepot Park in Miami, Florida, on February 22, 2022. The event was marred by technical issues, and critics panned the album's unfinished state, subject matter, and lack of identifiable concept. Despite the expectation of updates, the album saw no major revisions throughout the rest of 2022. Following West's series of antisemitic statements, the Stem Player's parent company, Kano Computing, dissociated with West and discontinued the original Stem Player. As a result, "Donda 2" is only available to those who purchased the original Stem Player. Despite its unfinished state, some songs from the album have since surfaced online through leaks, and various tracks have been repurposed or reworked for release under other artists' albums.
