Funkadelic

"Connections & Disconnections" is an album recorded by Fuzzy Haskins, Calvin Simon, and Grady Thomas, collectively known as Funkadelic. Released under the backing of Westbound Records founder Armen Boladian and co-produced by former Sly and the Family Stone drummer Greg Errico, this album marks a departure from the involvement of George Clinton due to past financial disputes. Originally titled "42.9%" upon its release in Germany in 1980, the album was later issued in the United States in 1981 under the title "Connections & Disconnections." In 1992, Rhino Records reissued the album with the title "Who's a Funkadelic?" This competing release sparked a legal battle between the trio and George Clinton over ownership of the "Funkadelic" name, underscoring the complexities of their musical legacy and legal disputes within the industry.
