"Hey Stoopid" is Alice Cooper's twelfth solo studio album, released on July 2, 1991, under Epic Records. Following the success of his 1989 album "Trash," Cooper aimed to replicate that achievement with this release. The album features notable guest performances from musicians like Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx, and Mick Mars of Mötley Crüe. This marked the last album with bassist Hugh McDonald before he joined Bon Jovi in 1994.
Initially, there were considerations for an alternate, more provocative cover featuring hypodermic needles and pills. One of the standout tracks, "Feed My Frankenstein," features a guitar collaboration between Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, accompanied by Nikki Sixx on bass. The album's lineup and Cooper's signature theatrical style contributed to its appeal, maintaining his presence in the rock scene of the early 1990s.
