"Ultimate" is the third greatest hits compilation album by the UK electronic music duo Pet Shop Boys, released on 1 November 2010 under their long-time label Parlophone. The album features 18 previously released singles arranged in chronological order, spanning their illustrious career up to that point. Additionally, it includes one new song titled "Together."
The release of "Ultimate" commemorates 25 years since Pet Shop Boys' debut single "West End Girls" hit the charts. The album was issued in both standard single-CD and expanded CD/DVD editions. Upon its release, "Ultimate" debuted at number 27 on the UK Albums Chart, selling 8,886 copies in its first week. It also charted on the European Top 100 Albums, peaking at number 50 by 20 November 2010.
The single "Together," featuring two cover tracks and an extended version of the title song, was released digitally on 24 October 2010 and physically on 29 November 2010 as part of the promotional efforts surrounding "Ultimate."
