"Dionysus" is the ninth studio album by the British-Australian band Dead Can Dance, released on November 2, 2018, by PIAS Recordings. This album came six years after their previous release, Anastasis. The cover art features a skull mask made by the Huichol people of Mexico, and the title references Dionysus, the ancient Greek god of wine and religious ecstasy.
Critically, Dionysus received "generally favorable" reviews, earning an average score of 78 on Metacritic from 10 reviews. The aggregator Album of the Year gave it a score of 79 based on a consensus of 15 reviews.
