"Creedence Gold" is a compilation album by Creedence Clearwater Revival, initially released in 1972. It features a collection of their hit singles and popular tracks up to that point in their career. The album was reissued later with additional tracks under the title "More Creedence Gold" in 1973.
The original vinyl release of "Creedence Gold" was distinctive for its cover art, which included colored profile flaps revealing pictures of the band. In overseas releases, this design was reversed, placing the band photo on the front cover and the colored silhouettes on the back.
Notably, a quadraphonic version of the album was also released on vinyl and 8-track cartridge formats. Quadraphonic versions were designed to offer a more immersive sound experience by encoding audio into four channels, enhancing the spatial distribution of music. These quadraphonic releases are now considered rare collector's items among fans and audiophiles.
