Robbie Williams

"The Heavy Entertainment Show" is the eleventh studio album by English artist Robbie Williams, released on November 4, 2016, through Columbia Records. The album features guest appearances from Rufus Wainwright and John Grant and was primarily produced by Williams’ longtime collaborator Guy Chambers alongside Richard Flack, with contributions from producers like Stuart Price, Johnny McDaid, and Gary Go. Musically, the album blends pop with elements of rock, swing, country, and electro-pop. Notably, the track "Mixed Signals" was co-written by the members of the American band The Killers, who also provided the instrumentation. The album was announced on September 25, 2016, during Williams' performance at the Apple Music Festival in London, where he previewed songs from the album. The title track was released that same day, with the first official single, "Party Like a Russian," following on September 30, and "Love My Life" released on October 20. The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and charted in the top ten in several other countries. To support the album, Williams launched The Heavy Entertainment Show Tour, which kicked off in Manchester on June 2, 2017, and concluded in Mexico City on November 17, 2018. The album’s upbeat and eclectic style, combined with Williams' charismatic performances, contributed to its popularity and commercial success.
