"The Alchemist's Euphoria" is the seventh studio album by British band Kasabian, released on August 12, 2022, through Sony Music. This album marked a significant shift for the band, featuring Serge Pizzorno as the sole lead vocalist following the departure of former frontman Tom Meighan, who was dismissed in 2020 due to a domestic assault conviction.
Tim Carter also joined the band as a permanent member for this release. Although he had been part of the band since 2013 as a touring guitarist and had contributed to previous albums, this was his first album as an official member.
The album was produced by Pizzorno and Fraser T. Smith. It includes singles such as "Alygatyr," "Scriptvre," "Chemicals," and "The Wall," which set the stage for the album's diverse sound.
The release date was initially set for August 5, 2022, but was postponed by a week due to vinyl manufacturing issues. Following its release, the band toured to support the album throughout late 2022, reconnecting with fans and showcasing their new material.
