"Greatest Hits" is a compilation album by the American rock band The Cars, released in October 1985 on Elektra Records. It spans the band's career at the time from their 1978 self-titled debut to Heartbeat City released in 1984. The album contains a total of 13 tracks, including some of the band's biggest hits and a few lesser-known ones.
The Cars were a new wave, power pop band that emerged from the late 1970s music scene in Boston. The members include Ric Ocasek, Benjamin Orr, David Robinson, Elliot Easton, and Greg Hawkes.
