"Discovery" is the eighth studio album by the English rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), released on June 1, 1979, in the United Kingdom by Jet Records, where it reached the top of the charts. It was released a week later, on June 8, in the United States through Jet Records with Columbia Records distribution.
The album was accompanied by a music video album featuring performances of all its songs by the band, initially released on VHS in 1979.
