Ramones

"¡Adios Amigos!" is the fourteenth and final studio album by the American punk rock band Ramones, released on July 18, 1995, through Radioactive Records. This album marked the end of the band's storied career, as they disbanded a year later after its release and subsequent tour. The album features a blend of the Ramones' signature punk sound, and despite its significance as their last studio effort, it received mixed reviews from critics. ¡Adios Amigos! was recorded at Baby Monster Studios in New York City and marked the Ramones' third album on Radioactive Records after leaving Sire due to poor sales and chart performance. The recording process was influenced by internal tensions, particularly Joey Ramone's battle with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, ongoing conflicts between Joey and Johnny Ramone, and growing disagreements between Marky and C.J. Long-time collaborator Daniel Rey returned as producer, appreciated for creating a comfortable studio atmosphere that suited the band's dynamics.
