"Inside Information" is an album by the British-American rock band Foreigner. This album was released on December 07, 1987, under the Atlantic Records label. Inside Information was Foreigner’s sixth studio album and the last one featuring the 80's core lineup until the release of Mr. Moonlight in 1994.
Produced by Frank Filipetti and Mick Jones, the album represented a move to a more synthesized and polished pop sound compared to the band's earlier works. It includes some of the band's major hits and iconic songs like "Say You Will" and "I Don't Want to Live Without You", which topped the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart and peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Inside Information marked a decline in the band's popularity, as it failed to crack the top 10 on the Billboard album charts for the first time in the band's career, peaking at number 15. Despite this, the album was certified platinum in the United States for selling over a million copies. The album's more polished sound marked the band's continued transition away from its hard rock roots into a more synthesized pop-rock direction.
