Eagles

"Eagles Greatest Hits Volume 2" is the second compilation album by the Eagles, released in 1982. The album includes many of the band's biggest hits that were not featured on Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975), including their signature song "Hotel California." The release came after the band had broken up, during a time when both Don Henley and Glenn Frey were launching their solo careers with debut albums. The compilation features eight tracks from the band's later albums, Hotel California and The Long Run. It also includes "After the Thrill Is Gone," an album track from One of These Nights, which, given its title, reflected the state of the band at the time of the breakup. The final track on the album is "Seven Bridges Road," a song from Eagles Live (1980). The album went on to become a massive success, selling over 11 million copies in the U.S. since its release.
