Stone Temple Pilots

"Stone Temple Pilots" is the seventh studio album by American rock band Stone Temple Pilots. It was released on March 16, 2018, through Rhino Entertainment. The album marks the band's first release with new lead vocalist Jeff Gutt, after the band's former lead vocalist, Scott Weiland, passed away in 2015, and Chester Bennington, who joined the band in 2013, left in 2015, after which he passed away in July 2017. The album itself includes 12 tracks and encapsulates a variety of musical styles, with elements of blues, classic rock, and psychedelia evident throughout. It was announced on November 15, 2017, and the first single "Meadow" quickly climbed rock radio charts. The second single from the album, "Roll Me Under", was released on January 31, 2018. The Stone Temple Pilots went on a North American tour in support of the album in March 2018. The self-titled album received generally positive reviews from critics, who primarily commented on Gutt's performance and the band's rejuvenation. The album landed in the top 25 of the Billboard Top Album Sales chart.
