Roxy Music

"The Thrill of It All" is a four-CD compilation box set by the British band Roxy Music, released by Virgin in 1995. The set provides an extensive overview of the band's career, with the first three discs featuring key album tracks from Roxy Music's eight studio albums. The fourth disc is dedicated to a selection of singles, B-sides, and remixes. Notably, many of the B-sides were written by other members of the band, as Bryan Ferry wanted to ensure that each band member received songwriting royalties. While the box set does not include any previously unreleased material, it did mark the first time that some of the band's tracks were available on compact disc. The compilation was remastered by Robert Ludwig, who also worked on the 1999 remasters of the Roxy Music catalogue. The set serves as a comprehensive collection of the band's music up to that point, offering a deep dive into their unique blend of glam rock, art rock, and electronic influences.
