"Live" is a double album released by British-American rock band, Fleetwood Mac. It was first released in December 1980, and features recordings from various concerts from the band's 1979-1980 tour. The album was produced by Richard Dashut and band member Lindsey Buckingham. The live tour took place after the release of the band's 1979 album "Tusk".
"Live" has a diverse collection of songs from the band's extensive repertoire, featuring both popular tracks as well as less prominent songs. Standout tracks from this album include "Go Your Own Way", "Don't Stop", and "Tusk". This album also contains two new studio tracks that were recorded during a 'live in the studio session': a cover of the Beach Boys' "The Farmer's Daughter" and Stevie Nicks' "Fireflies."
Upon its release, "Live" achieved remarkable commercial success. It peaked at number 14 in the UK albums chart, and number 31 on the US Billboard 200. Despite its live nature, the album was well received by critics and continues to be appreciated by fans for its raw and honest depiction of the band.
