Janis Joplin and her Full Tilt Boogie Band

"Wicked Woman" is a live bootleg recording of Janis Joplin's final concert, held less than two months before her death. The performance took place at Harvard Stadium in front of 40,000 people, with Joplin backed by her Full Tilt Boogie Band. Despite the band having to use loaned amplifiers due to their equipment being stolen in Boston, Joplin delivered a powerful, soulful performance. Three of the tracks from this concert—Half Moon, Mercedes Benz, and "My Baby"—would later appear on her final studio album, Pearl, released in January 1971.
